A few summers ago, we were looking into a very expensive local music and arts camp. We actually considered spending thousands of dollars to send my daughter there. Then we found the South Huntington Summer Music and Arts program. My daughter LOVED it! She was able to take advanced lessons and play with other incredible young musicians. She has spent 3 summers at the camp and every year she can’t wait to go back. This is a high quality camp at an incredible price.

The South Huntington Summer Music and Arts program is a great 4 week program that offers wonderful learning opportunities in Music & Arts. My children have attended the program for the past 2 years and have taken piano, sculpture, theater, dance, art, video making and photography courses.
They learn so much in 4 weeks and at the end they showcase what they have learned with a theater show, dance performances and musical performances as well as a showcase of the art, sculpture and photography pieces they have created. Both my kids love the program and will be attending again this year. There are so many courses to take, instruments to learn and things to try for the first time. I feel fortunate that our district offers this program and gives the children opportunity to learn about Music and Arts over the summer break!

My 3 children have attended the South Huntington Summer Music and Arts program for 4 years. It is an incredible camp that offers a wide variety of classes. My kids love that they can explore different instruments without feeling embarrassed. Each of my children currently play multiple instruments because of that exploration. They also love taking sculpture with Mr.G and the dance classes are top notch. Overall, we are so grateful that our district offers such a fine camp at such a reasonable price.
